Vietri Tableware and Handcrafted Italian Dinnerware Presents: Festa
It is time for Festa. Festa is a new and exciting event at la Terrine, the first one happening this year. It is the introduction of the Old Saint Nick collection from Italy designed by Alessandro Tadde, who grew up in Tuscany. Each piece in this collection of Old Saint Nick shows Alessandro's vision of what he thought Santa looked like from all the childhood stories he heard from his family.
There are fifty-five pieces in the collection with nineteen new introductions this season. This is our fifth year running the collection, and each piece in the collection is whimsical, and is basically very functional for everyday use during the holiday season.
One of my favorite pieces is the new cookie platter, and Alessandro tells a story of how he would leave a plate of cookies out for Santa every year, and the type of cookies that his grandmother would bake for Santa are depicted on the plate, and are all hand-painted in Tuscany in his factory. The collection is dishwasher safe, can go in the microwave, there are great pieces like this baking dish which can go right from oven to table.
We're so excited. We've been waiting, we get the collection in twice a year. Yay! Old Saint Nick has arrived at la Terrine.
