About la Terrine

Opened in 1975 on Manhattan's Upper East Side and more recently on the Upper West Side, la Terrine has become the definitive destination for dinnerware, flatware, fine linens and gifts imported from Italy, France and Portugal.

Our online Registry (http://www.laterrinedirect.com/theregistry) along with our Wedding Specialist will provide you the expert and professional assistance to start a Registry to begin your wedding journey.

A FAMILY AFFAIR

Deborah Friedman's passion for tableware began at an early age. Growing up watching her mother collect ceramic pieces imported from all over Europe, Friedman's fascination was solidified. Fast forward to today and a young girl's hobby has become la Terrine, with two stores, a Wedding Center and an online (http://www.laterrinedirect.com) presence.

la TERRINE CARRIES MANY FAMOUS TABLEWARE COLLECTIONS

At la Terrine we carry product from many manufacturers including the following: VIETRI, Arte Italica, Deruta of Italy, Match, Gien, Jars, Laguiole, Terrafirma, Sabre and Terre-e-Provence/Souleo.

Deborah is consistently expanding her horizons by traveling extensively and looking for new artists, manufacturers and product so that la Terrine's assortments reflect the latest trends in tableware and gift giving.
